I spent my early childhood in Algeria, Cameroon and Rwanda, before moving to the Netherlands, Austria and Honduras. I finally returned to Austria. I have worked as a translator for over 20 years, but since 2017 I have devoted myself to my passion: ART. I create acrylic paintings, drawings and collages.
My paintings are rarely predefined; the themes only emerge during the creative process. Intense colours reflect intensity and offer me many possibilities for expression.  The diversity of my visual language is important to me, which is why I am expanding my work from 2019–2020 to include collages, drawings and photography.
Both my artistic career and my works have been influenced by my travels and exposure to different cultures, and are characterised by dynamic development and a high degree of expressiveness. Initially, my works were essentially intuitive (acrylic/spatula), but I subsequently enriched them with representational nude depictions and the sometimes provocative medium of collage.
What all my works have in common is that I want the viewer to take the time to absorb them. I encourage viewers to explore the works and the details of the depictions.

Every child is an artist. The problem is staying an artist as you grow up. – Pablo Picasso
